MHL BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING

Monitor Healthcare Limited in partnership with the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) is set to hold Basic Life Support (BLS) training in Lagos from the 1st to the 4th of November 2019. The training aims at ensuring that candidates (which include everyone) become competent in the delivery of BLS and the use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

BLS is a level of non-invasive medical care given as a matter of emergency to a person having a cardiac arrest. It is very important as it ensures immediate survival of a patient and it includes Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), haemorrhage control, stabilization of fractures, spinal immobilization, and basic first aid before the arrival of professional help.

The training focuses on the integration of key skills which includes;

  • Team dynamics
