A LIFETIME OF TRAINING FOR JUST TEN SECONDS
Basic Life Support is geared towards empowering staff with the skill to help save lives, especially at workplaces and least expected places.
Basic Life Support is the key element to increasing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR) performed by bystanders and increasing survival. This training provided the student’s theoretical knowledge of the anatomical structure of the human body, in-depth knowledge of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation, and hands-on experience with victims of all ages.
68 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital yaba partnered with Monitor HealthCare Limited to equip their staff with the essential skill to handle emergency situations.
It will be shameful if none of the staff can resuscitate victims when they go into cardiac arrest or respiratory failure, hence the drive for this training. Training to be a provider is very important as this incidence occurs in the least expected places.
The training was held in batches to ensure that everyone makes good use of this opportunity to acquire this skill. Upon completion of the course, the students received their European Resuscitation Council certification, valid for 2 years.
