Nigeria’s Biggest Cancer Awareness Walk is a yearly awareness program organized by the MEDICAID CANCER FOUNDATION to increase awareness of cancer and support those affected. Monitor Healthcare Ltd partner with MEDICAIDCF in this year’s edition tagged “WALKAWAY CANCER” 26th October 2019 on Breast Cancer Awareness and screening for interested individuals.

The event was graced by dignitaries and celebrities such as the wife of the Vice President Her Excellency Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo; the First Lady of Gombe State, Her Excellency Asmau Inuwa, Alex Ekubo, Toyin Abraham, Osita Iheme, Ike Ogbonna among others. Medics, and other various stakeholders who came to be screened.

Dr Femi Ogunremi, CEO Monitor Healthcare Limited, gave a timely lecture to the people to illuminate partakers on the deserving values of early detection, discovery and the likelihood or tendency of obtaining a cure.


The screening was conducted at a free rate to every woman that registered.


Partakers were registered and were screened. Every individual that were screened were delighted about the new technology being used (Breast-i) as they encountered no form of pains or discomfort while getting screened.
