MONITOR HEALTHCARE LIMITED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CSDON CONDUCTS BREAST CANCER SCREENING AT BANANA ISLAND, LAGOS.
On June 8th, 2019 the Child Survival & Development Organization of Nigeria (CSDON) invited Monitor healthcare Limited to one of her signature events at Banana Island, Lekki Lagos state to have the organization enlighten the public about breast cancer and screen interested individuals.
The CEO of Monitor Healthcare Limited, Dr Femi Ogunremi addressed the attendants which were about 150 in number, informing them about the danger of Breast Cancer especially in a country like Nigeria and how to gain an edge over it through information and regular screening.
A hundred (100) women were registered and screened for breast cancer using BREAST-i; a revolutionary self-use, portable, non-diagnostic screening device used to screen for cancerous lumps in the breast.
The event was honoured by the presence of Her Excellency, Mrs Oludolapo Osinbajo, Wife of the Vice President of Nigeria.
Monitor Healthcare Limited has screened over 2000 women in the past 8 months and this is just a tip of the iceberg in the Fight Against Breast Cancer.
MHL works will Continue to work with different bodies including Educational, Professional, Financial, Social and Religious to carry out screening exercises for its community, members and/or staff.
