MONITOR HEALTHCARE LIMITED MADE ANOTHER MASSIVE IMPACT AT KWARA STATE: AN INTERSTATE SCREENING IN AN EFFORT TO CHANGING THE NARRATIVE OF BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER MORBIDITY AND MORTALITY OF NIGERIAN WOMEN
Monitor Healthcare Ltd embarked on another massive impact in sixteen (16) Local Government Area of Kwara State; Patigi, Edu, Baruteen, Kaiama, Moro, Ifelodun, Offa, Oyun, Ekiti, Oke-Ero, Irepodun, Isin, Asa, Ilorin West, Ilorin South and Ilorin East.

The CEO of Monitor Healthcare Ltd, Dr. Femi Ogunremi lectured and trained Consultants, Medical Officers of Health (MOH), Nurses and other medics on the BREAST-i device and its usage. This was to prepare them for the Kwara Interstate Breast & Cervical Cancer screening program.
The program was organized by Monitor Healthcare LTD in partnership with Kwara state Government, His Excellency, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, thereby making its indigenes and residents participate for free. It was a wonderful and impactful screening program.
The program recorded a total of four thousand and twenty-eight (4028) women, out of which two thousand, three hundred and ninety-two (2392) women were screened for breast cancer and the twenty-six (26) women screened positive referred to see a breast surgeon, the total of one thousand six hundred and thirty-six (1636) were screened for Cervical Cancer and one hundred and six (106) women were screened positive and were treated on the spot using cryotherapy.
