MONITOR HEALTHCARE LTD PARTNERS WITH VICTORY DRUGS TO TRAIN PHARMACISTS AND TEACHERS IN LAGOS STATE,NIGERIA.
On the 21st of January 2022, Monitor Healthcare Ltd partners with victory drugs to train pharmacist and educators on Basic Life Support (BLS) at The Brains Premier Schools in festac area of Lagos. The training program started by 9am in the morning and ended by 5pm in the evening.
The training which have pharmacists, teaching and non-teaching staff of The Brain Premier Schools in attendance was partitioned into two sections, morning and afternoon section, to follow COVID 19 protocol. As participant were coming in, precautions were followed by washing of hands, sharing and ensuring the use of face masks, and sitting arrangement of 6 feet apart.
Training folders which includes writing materials, participant tag for identification, assessment sheet, feedback form and course handbook was also shared on arrival.
Pharmacist Folasade Lawal, the CEO of Victory Drugs festac, during her opening remarks introduced MHL training team and the training lead in person of Dr Femi Ogunremi. She also spoke about her been a witness to an unfortunate incidence where a child choked to death which has been an eye opener for her to the importance of the training in saving lives.
Dr Femi Ogunremi educates the participant on how to perform cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adult and children and choking. After the training, practical was taken to access the impact of the training and the qualification of the participants for European Resuscitation Council (ERC) certification.
The feedback from participants were encouraging as they were happy and satisfied that they got value for their payment and their expectations were met.
