SIDE EFFECTS OF NOT DRINKING ENOUGH WATER
About 80% of the human body is made up of water. Every organ, cell and tissue in the human body uses it to function properly. Water is really important to us; you can stay hydrated by drinking water and taking certain foods with high water content such as cucumbers, watermelon and tomatoes, etc.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON’T DRINK ENOUGH WATER?
Fatigue: if you are dehydrated, you might notice energy level drop and you could experience fatigue and brain fog. Keep a water bottle to remind you to consistently drink throughout the day.
Weight gain: drinking water can help you lose weight especially if you are drinking it in place of sugary beverages or other higher calorie drinks sometimes people mistake thirst for hunger and they eat more sometimes, if you take a glass of water, the hunger cues will go away.
Dull skin: our skin needs water to stay healthy and look hydrated. Not drinking enough water can increase the effects of aging.
Persistent headaches: once you are dehydrated, the first things you might notice is a throbbing headache. So, before taking medication, have some water first and rest. The headaches might go away without you taking any medications.
