The event that was graced by the Commissioner of Health; Dr. Idris, and some other dignitaries in the health field on the 20th of February, 2020 was opened to Healthcare Professionals such as Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Laboratory Scientists especially those working with the federal government hospitals in Lagos state, among others, to participate in the 3-day Strategic Leadership & Financial Management Retreat that included health topics ranging from ‘Transforming the Secondary Healthcare Facilities for Quality Service Delivery to Hospital Statistical Data- A veritable tool for improving hospital performance’ alongside games to keep the body healthy and active.
The CEO of Monitor Healthcare Limited, Dr. Femi Ogunremi shared an in-depth knowledge on the importance of transforming health care facilities in other to ensure quality services is delivered to patients.
He furthered on the meaning and understanding of quality and performance improvement making reference on how the state of a healthcare facility can either help a patient get better or worst.
He rounded off by citing example of one of the hospitals with an applaudable healthcare facilities; Federal Medical Center, Ebute-Metta which had her facilities renovated & transformed by Monitor Healthcare Limited.
