As an integral part of our Breast Cancer Early Detection Programme, Monitor Healthcare Ltd partnered with Silverline Pharmacy to organize breast cancer screening to women in surulere community, Lagos State.
On Tuesday, 26th of October, 2022 at Silverline Pharmacy, Surulere, Lagos State, we had a breast screening exercise for women of Surulere community. A total of thirty-one (31) women were screened and educated about breast cancer.
The screening exercise continued on the 29th October, 2022 of which nineteen (19) women were screened and educated about cancer and the importance of self-breast examination.
Beneficiaries received clinical breast exams, reports and women who require it were referred for further investigation.
This community outreach is in partnership with Silverline Pharmacy and supported by Buku Initiative Foundation.
