Monitor Healthcare

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER; ISSUE 21:BUKU PROMOTION IN THE FIELD, A HUMANITARIAN APPROACH TO HEALTH ACCESS.

As part of its ongoing commitment to accessible healthcare and community development, Monitor Healthcare ,through Buku Promotion Initiative, conducted a series of free medical screenings during the Esie/Iludun Grammar School Endowment Fund Launching Program held on the 19th of july, 2025, in Kwara State, Nigeria.

The health outreach, aimed at promoting early detection and prevention of common non-communicable diseases, featured free blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, and prostate screening for all attendees. These vital health services were offered at no cost as part of the Foundation’s mandate to enhance community health, especially during public and high-impact social events.

The endowment program was a well-attended and distinguished gathering, drawing in traditional rulers, government officials and political appointees (or their representatives), as well as a large number of former students and alumni. The presence of these dignitaries underscored the importance of the occasion and the broader support for initiatives that merge education, community development, and health awareness.

Through initiatives such as this, the Monitor Healthcare through Buku Foundation continues to demonstrate its core mission: ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible to underserved communities regardless of socioeconomic status. By embedding free health services into strategic community events, the Foundation fosters a culture of preventive healthcare, ultimately contributing to healthier, more informed populations.

The Foundation extends its appreciation to all partners, volunteers, and attendees who contributed to the success of the outreach program. It also reaffirms its commitment to supporting similar initiatives across Nigeria.
