Monitor Healthcare

Empowering Borno State Health Management Board Staff with Basic Life Support Skills.

Dear Valued Subscribers,

We are delighted to bring you the latest updates on Monitor Healthcare Limited’s recent mission to Borno State, where we had the privilege of facilitating Basic Life Support (BLS) training for 150 dedicated healthcare professionals. This initiative was part of our ongoing commitment to improving healthcare standards and making a positive impact in underserved regions.

Our team of highly skilled and experienced facilitators embarked on a remarkable journey from Lagos State to the heart of Borno State. This journey represents our dedication to reaching healthcare providers in even the most remote areas, ensuring that lifesaving knowledge is accessible to all.

The BLS training was a comprehensive program designed to equip health management board staff with essential life-saving skills. The curriculum covered a range of critical topics, including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) usage, choking management, and first aid techniques. The participants were engaged in hands-on practice sessions, simulations, and informative discussions, allowing them to gain confidence in responding to emergencies effectively.

The training was flagged off on the 13th of September,2023 by the deputy governor His Excellency Umar Usman Kadafur, in attendance also was the special adviser to the president on health matters, Dr. Salma Anas and members of the press. The participants were engaged in hands-on practice sessions, simulations, and informative discussions, allowing them to gain confidence in responding to emergencies effectively.

The impact of this training on the healthcare ecosystem in Borno State cannot be overstated. By empowering 150 healthcare professionals with BLS skills, we are enhancing the region’s capacity to respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively. This, in turn, has the potential to save countless lives in the future.
