As 2025 begins to wrap up, Monitor Healthcare continues to demonstrate unwavering commitment to improving emergency readiness across Lagos and beyond. On Saturday, 29th November, we successfully conducted a double training session, bringing together participants both physically and virtually a testament to our adaptability, reach, and passion for lifesaving education.
A Dual-Location Training for Wider Impact
This latest training was particularly special because it bridged two learning environments.
At our training centre in Ikoyi, Dolphin Estate, participants gathered for an in-person, hands-on experience guided by our expert facilitators. Simultaneously, another group joined us virtually from Victoria Fellowship Church (VFC) in Lekki, Lagos, where our facilitators were also present to support their learning in real time.
This hybrid approach enabled us to train a total of 24 participants, ensuring that regardless of location or mobility, learners could still gain essential skills in Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid, and emergency preparedness.
By operating both physical and virtual hubs, we continue to break down barriers to access — reinforcing our mission to train as many people as possible, especially as emergencies remain unpredictable and require swift, informed action.
Strengthening Our Mission Through Consistent Training
Throughout the year, Monitor Healthcare has remained intentional about equipping individuals with lifesaving competencies. This November session adds to our growing list of impactful trainings conducted across 2025, targeting aspiring healthcare assistants, working professionals, and community members seeking to be proactive about emergency readiness.
Every training reinforces the same truth: preparedness saves lives. Participants consistently express confidence after learning how to respond during critical situations such as cardiac arrest, choking, fainting, and other emergencies where immediate intervention is key.
A Busy December Ahead
While many organisations slow down for the holidays, December is shaping up to be one of the busiest months in our training calendar. With increased interest in international healthcare pathways and local emergency-readiness certifications, our upcoming sessions are filling up fast.
We are prepared to host multiple hands on trainings both physical and hybrid to continue meeting the growing demand. For many trainees, these certifications mark a significant step toward global healthcare employment opportunities, while others simply want to be better prepared to protect their families, workplaces, and communities.
Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Purpose
As 2025 draws to a close, we are proud of the momentum we have built. From reaching underserved communities to expanding our training model and improving accessibility, Monitor Healthcare has made notable advancements in emergency preparedness education.
Our impact continues to grow through every class, every cohort,
