Elevating Healthcare Standards in Nigeria: MHL Launches Hospital Quality Initiative & Strengthens Partnerships for System-Wide Improvement.
Monitor Healthcare Limited (MHL) is proud to announce a major milestone in its mission to drive healthcare excellence in Nigeria. On May 7th, 2025, we officially launched the Hospital Quality Assessment Initiative in partnership with SafeCare at the prestigious Radisson Hotel, Ikeja.
This groundbreaking initiative aims to equip healthcare facilities with internationally recognized tools to assess service quality, reduce patient risks, and implement structured improvement strategies. Through the SafeCare framework, hospitals will be empowered to progress from basic awareness of care gaps to delivering consistent, high-quality, and standardized services.
As part of our continued effort to engage key stakeholders, MHL will meet with the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN) on May 21st, 2025, to explore the integration of quality improvement assessments across private health facilities nationwide. This meeting will serve as a platform to highlight SafeCare’s 5-Level Quality Maturity Model, which offers facilities a clear roadmap toward excellence—from identifying care gaps to achieving reliable, evidence-based clinical operations.
